I need a break  

Or I will break.  

Staring at you,  

Emotions quake.  

Insanity looms,  

No pretense,  

A poltergeist  

Without peace.

Soulless,  

Or just lost,  

A mind adrift,  

A heavy cost.  

Altered  

Beyond return,  

I lost my mind  

To not lose you.

Now I must leave  

So you won't go.  

Gather my fragments,  

Hide the show.  

Change my skin,  

A tougher feel,

Stronger than  

This heart of steel.

The beater, the heater,  

Volcano head—  

Collapsing soon,  

A rising dread.  

Run for your life

I won't repeat.

I show no mercy

When I kill.

Before I melt, 

I felt alive.

When beast breaks free, 

Remember my fight.

Keep it locked before I drown.

When darkness consumes me

Fire is my best friend.

And then again

All walls are crumbling down.

Keep it safe, keep it real.

Your negativity do not conceal.

I have to see it clear.
