Why am I like this?
Why keep living?
Everything I touch
Blooms at first,
Then everything I love
Withers away.
Is it a curse
Or just my fate,
To watch the flowers
Turn to dust,
To feel the warmth
Fade into cold?
My heart aches
With every loss.
I give my all,
My soul, my heart,
Yet shadows creep
And dreams depart.
The laughter turns
To distant echoes,
Joy to sorrow,
Light to dark.
But in the pain,
A lesson lies,
In every end,
A new sunrise.
The withering
Paves way for growth,
The loss, a step
Toward what’s close.
I'll plant again,
With hope renewed,
For in the cycle,
Life is brewed.
The blooms may fade,
But seeds remain,
And from the ashes,
Love will reign.
So I’ll keep living,
I’ll keep trying,
In every wither,
There’s new thriving.
For every tear
And every sorrow,
There is a dawn,
A new tomorrow.
